URSULA GOT RICH ON PRESCIENCE AND WILE

An unknown fortune teller and her crystal ball from repurposed 1930's b&w photo by Russell Froelich who was a newspaper photographer in St. Louis, Missouri from 1915 – 1950. The photo was blown up, cut out, colored (photo dyes, markers, acrylic) and mounted on an illustration for "Fontaine's Golden Wheel Dream Book and Fortune-Teller." The pieces are then glued to 6.75x6 card stock paper. From the advertisement for the book: "The golden wheel dream-book and fortune-teller : being the most complete work on fortune-telling and interpreting dreams ever printed, containing an alphabetical list of dreams, with their interpretation, and the lucky numbers they signify; also explaining how to tell fortunes by the mysterious golden wheel..."
